Pay, Park, Pick & Picnic
$50 admission per car which includes:
- Half-bushel bag to fill with apples-up to 22 pounds!
- Parking
- Admission to Play Area
- Farm Animal Barn
- Goat Area
- Picnic Areas
- Feel free to taste the apples while you pick.
No reservations for picking required, unless coming by bus.

Nighttime Apple & Pumpkin Picking
Bring your flashlights, headlamps, and other bright lights to light the way for picking, hayrides, and nighttime fun! Follow us on Social Media for dates and times!

Pet Policy:
You don't have to leave your pal at home.
Friendly, leashed dogs are permitted in the west picking areas.
Pets are not allowed near farm animals, in barns, in play areas, near food serving areas or on the East side of farm where market, ice cream parlor, beer garden and cidery are located.
You must clean up after your pup.
Market Bites & Picnic Delights
Food is often available for purchase and the market also offers delicious treats but feel free to bring your own food and picnic.

The farm market, ice cream parlor, beer garden and cidery are open at the East entrance.
Please note that pets are only permitted on the West side of farm.
Varieties of Apples

Ginger Golds
Available to begin picking late August Ginger Golds are big, bright yellow, crispy and sweet. They are good for salads and sauce, or just excellent to eat! Available late August.
McIntosh
Available for picking late August to early October depending on weather and picking conditions. McIntosh are generally green on one side, and red on the other; usually large and somewhat tart. Good for salads, sauce, pies or eating.
HoneyCrisp
Available late August until picked out. Honeycrisp apples were produced from a cross breeding program in the 1960’s involving the Macoun and Honeygold apples, as part of the University of Minnesota apple breeding program to develop winter hardy cultivars with high fruit quality. Honeycrisp’s tend to be clean, crisp, and have a sweet tart taste. Great for eating!
Empires
Available for picking early to mid September to the end of October/beginning of November depending on weather and picking conditions. Empires tend to be medium sized, red in color, sweet, good for snacking, sauce and salads.
Gala
Available for picking from early September to late October depending on weather and picking conditions. Galas are grown especially for kids! They tend to be mild flavored, juicy and crispy. They have a unique sweetness. They are usually a bright yellow and red in color. Great for salads and eating. We also have an Autumn Gala which ripens later in the season.
Early Mutsu (Shizuka)
Available mid-September, usually large/yellow colored, sweet and excellent for eating in salads.
Daybreak Fuji
An early variety of fuji apples that is available for picking in mid-September. Small, sweet and great for snacking.
Jona Prince
Large red colored apple that is sweet and delicious for snacking.
Jonagolds
Available for picking usually mid to end of September to October depending on weather and picking conditions. Jonagolds are almost always yellow and red in color, usually large; sweet, good for snacking, salads and sauce.
Mutsu (Crispins)
Available for picking end of September to the end of October depending on weather and picking conditions. Crispins are usually large, yellow colored, sweet, and excellent for eating, sauce and salads.
Cortlands
Available for picking mid September to end of October depending on weather and picking conditions. Cortlands are generally large, semi-sweet, mostly red in color.They are excellent for apple pies! They also good for eating, sauce and salads.
Macouns
Available for picking mid September through mid October depending on weather and picking conditions. Macouns tend to be medium sized, red in color, semi-sweet, crunchy, excellent for eating, sauce and salads.
Red Delicious
Available for picking toward the end of September to the end of October/mid November depending on weather and picking conditions. Red Delicious are a very popular large, sweet apple that is good for snacking, sauce and salads.
Golden Delicious
Available for picking toward the end of September to the end of October/mid November depending on weather and picking conditions. Golden Delicious are yellow in color, sweet, good for eating, sauce and salads.
Stayman Winesaps
Available for picking end of September to the end of October/mid November depending on weather and picking conditions. Stayman Winesaps are medium sized, red in color, with a distinct wine flavor, excellent for eating, sauce and salads.
Mutsu (Crispins)
Available for picking end of September to the end of October/mid November depending on weather and picking conditions. Crispins are usually large, yellow colored, sweet, and excellent for eating, sauce and salads.
Autumn Gala
Avaialble for picking early October to late October/mid November. A late Gala variety which is crisp and mildly sweet.
Fujis
Available for picking mid October to early November depending on weather and picking conditions. Fujis are small,sweet, hard, crisp, red in color.Good for eating, salads and sauce.
Rome
Available for picking in mid-October to mid November depending on weather. Red, tart firm apple that is perfect for baking.
Granny Smiths
Available for picking toward mid to end of October to mid November depending on weather and picking conditions. Granny Smiths tend to be large, green in color, hard, tart, tangy and crispy. Excellent for eating, pies, sauce and salads.
